Meeting point.-- McDonalds Goodna
Meeting time.--- 1.00pm for a departure time of 1.30pm.
Things to bring. Food for dinner, wood fired bbq's at the lookout to cook on or bring your own portable cooker.
Details.--- Deb McManus will be leading a drive for the ladies. Ladies if your not comfortable driving in the bush make hubby/partner bring you along. We will be meeting at the Goodna Macca's and heading out along the Darren Lockyer way to just before Gatton, before turning off the highway and heading out to the Lockyer national park. We will make our way up through the forest tracks through many changing landscapes, emerging from the forest on the top of the ridge line surrounder by farmland. From there we will make our way up to the Gus Buetel Lookout to have a bbq dinner and watch the sunset over the Toowoomba range. After dinner and the sunset we will head back to the forest at dusk and follow a different route out of the forest slowly making our way back to the township of Gatton then back to Brisbane.
Note::: this is not a dog friendly trip as we will be in a national park
