New Members Orientation Weekend

Want to become a member of the LROC Brisbane?
Want to learn more about your 4WD and what it can do?
As part of the new member induction process with the LROC Brisbane, prospective members are invited to attend the induction weekend. On the weekend you will learn about club standard procedures, what you are required to carry on club events, safe ways to operate your 4WD off-road and important recovery techniques. Best of all you can sit by the camp fire on Saturday night and meet the members of the LROC Brisbane.
The New Members Induction Weekend is an easy 2 days at Janowen Hills designed to get you familiar with your 4WD and to build your confidence when you're off-road.
Existing members are also very welcome as their experience and insights add volumes to the event.
Schedule of Events:
Sat 8:30 - Arrive at the park. Set up camp. Pay fees at the shop. Please bring cash as there are no EFTPOS facilities.
Sat 10am – Theory at the Shed
Sat 12pm - Lunch
Sat 1.30pm – Setting up your vehicle
Sat 2.30pm – Drive Section 1
Sat 4.30pm – Build Camp Fire
Sun 8.30am – Drive Section 2
Sun 12 pm – Lunch
Sun 1.30pm – Head Home
